The CALURA system is formulated with an innovative exothermic technology that was designed to maximize dye penetration and minimize hair damage. Each shade was formulated to generate a specific increase in temperature to achieve desired results. As a bonus, this heat allows a thorough penetration of the certified organic essences and keratin. The result is an incomparable radiant shine!

The exothermic technology of CALURA offers the following 3 main benefits:

USE:

MIXING RATIO: Mix 1 part (60ml / 2oz) hair color shade to 1 part (60ml / 2oz) developer.

CHOICE OF DEVELOPER: The developer was formulated to provide precise results and a rich non-dripping creamy consistency that allows better mixing and easier application. Use CALURA developers exclusively. Choose developer strength based on desired results.

WHITE HAIR: For optimal white coverage, do not use a shade with a level lighter than an 8. Any lighter shade will not deposit enough color to cover white hair. Fashion shades do not cover white hair. For coverage, intermix with shade of same level from the following series: Neutral, Intense Neutral, 18/AB, 318/GAB, 34/GK, and 8/B. The minimum processing time is 45 minutes.

APPLICATION: Apply generous amount of color mixture to dry, unwashed hair immediately after mixing. If hair has excess build up from styling products it is recommended to gently shampoo and dry the hair before color application. When the processing time is complete add lukewarm water and emulsify.

Rinse hair thoroughly and gently until water runs clear. Follow with Calura Moisture Balance Shampoo & Conditioner. Finally, apply Calura Color Lock, leave on for 5 minutes and rinse.
