Formulated for maximum lifting and toning on natural hair.

Recommended on natural levels 6 and lighter. 
Not recommended on pre-lightened hair.
Tip:
To avoid cool tones on fine textured hairline new growth, apply color during last 30 minutes of processing time. Alternatively, mix 12-31/12GA with your desired shade for the complete processing time.

12A Base: 100% Blue

The exothermic technology of CALURA offers the following 3 main benefits:

USE: 

MIXING RATIO: Mix 1 part (60ml / 2oz) hair color shade to 2 parts (120ml / 4oz) developer.

CHOICE OF COLOR: Determine client's natural level based on the neutral series.

CHOICE OF DEVELOPER: The developer was formulated to provide precise results and a rich non-dripping creamy consistency that allows better mixing and easier application. Use CALURA developers exclusively. Choose 30 volume (9%) or 40 volume (12%) developer based on desired results.

APPLICATION: 

Virgin Hair: Apply Calura Pure Blonde shade to midlengths and ends first. Cover the hair with a plastic cap and process for 15 to 20 minutes until lifting is observed. Prepare a fresh mix and apply to new growth area. Process for up to 60 minutes.* Timing may vary due to length. ex: short hair 15 to 20 minutes, shoulder length or longer 20 to 30 minutes

New Growth: Apply to new growth only. Avoid overlapping. Process for up to 60 minutes. To maintain optimal results, retouch new growth every 3 weeks.

Instructions:Apply generous amount of color mixture to dry, unwashed hair immediately after mixing. If hair has excess build up from styling products it is recommended to gently shampoo and dry the hair before color application. When the processing time is complete add lukewarm water and emulsify. 

Rinse hair thoroughly and gently until water runs clear. Follow with Calura Moisture Balance Shampoo & Conditioner. Finally, apply Calura Color Lock, leave on for 5 minutes and rinse.
